Honoring The Grain
"We do not force wood into shape. We listen to it."
The Slow Method
In an age of fast furniture and veneer-covered particle board, Carpceter stands as a bastion of permanence.
Every commision begins with raw lumber selection. We source FSC-certified hardwoods—White Oak, Black Walnut, and Ash—primarily from fallen trees in the Pacific Northwest. The wood is air-dried for 12 months per inch of thickness to ensure stability.
Our Standards
- ✓ No Screws: Traditional Japanese Joinery only.
- ✓ No Stains: Natural oil finishes to highlight true color.
- ✓ Guaranteed for Life: We repair any structural failure.
- ✓ Single Craftsman: One set of hands from start to finish.
